Tour of the SENSORA™ platform

Who is this for?

✓ Plan: SENSORA™ platform with Structural Murmur Detection

✓ Role: Institution Admin

Here’s a high-level description of what’s in the SENSORA platform and how everything works together.

About SENSORA

The SENSORA cardiac disease detection platform provides decision support to clinicians in their evaluation of patients' heart sounds. Our platform guides the clinician through an auscultation exam and runs artificial intelligence to analyze heart sounds and PCG.

The SENSORA AI detects:

  • The quality of the recorded heart sounds.

  • If a potential murmur is present.

  • The murmur timing and character, including:

    • If the murmur is structural.

    • If it is systolic, diastolic, or continuous.

Device

The Eko CORE is an electronic stethoscope that enables amplification, filtering, and transmission of auscultation sound data (heart, lungs, bowel, arteries, and veins). The CORE is a small attachment that is located between the tubing and chestpiece of a stethoscope. It’s part of a fully-assembled 3M™ Littmann® CORE Digital Stethoscope:

Software

Eko has an app for iPad and a web-based Dashboard.

Eko App

The Eko App is used when a clinician needs to perform a spot check or full cardiac exam. The Eko CORE is connected to the app via Bluetooth before using the features in the app. The app includes a PCG tracing visualization, AI analysis (only available in the U.S.), and wireless auscultation with Bluetooth headphones.

The Eko App is installed on the iPad provided with the cart. Eko will work with you to set up sign-in credentials for the Eko App.

Eko Dashboard

The Dashboard is a website that’s used for more comprehensive functions such as managing programs, managing clinicians, sites, and patients, and viewing analysis metrics.
