Step 1: Navigate to your Enterprise Dashboard and log-in with your user credentials.
Step 2: Select “Telemedicine” in the navigation panel on the left hand side of the screen.
Selecting a Patient or Clinic
Step 1: You may select a patient/clinic from the list or add a new patient/clinic by selecting “+ new user.”
Step 2: To add a new user, input a unique patient ID, first and last name, phone number and PIN. The phone number and PIN will be the credentials that the patient logs into application with. Please inform the patient of their login credentials prior to their first appointment.
Note: To initiate a video conference session with a clinic, please set up the distant clinic site as a “patient” replacing the first and last name of the patient with the clinic name. The clinic would then log in with the phone number and PIN assigned to that location.
Step 3: After clicking on the patient’s name, the next screen will be the patient’s profile. This is where you may access recordings, analyses or initiate a video conference. To start a conference, select the “Livestream” button.
Step 1: Upon selecting “Livestream,” a new tab will open. To initiate a video conference, select “Start video”. A pop-up will appear requesting to grant access to your microphone and camera, please select “allow.”
Step 2: Upon granting access to the microphone and camera, the video session will initiate. The consulting clinician will appear in the right hand corner of the screen and the patient will appear immediately to the left.
Step 3: To view a full screen of the video, you may select the maximize screen icon as indicated above. To mute the consulting side audio, click the microphone icon. To return to the original view, select the minimize screen icon as indicated below.
Initiating a live auscultation
Step 1: Instruct the patient to select “Live stream” on their smartphone and connect their device.
Step 2: Select “Play Live Stream.”
Step 3: Listen to the auscultation sounds using wired headphones. If the patient is using a DUO stethoscope, instruct the patient to switch between lung view (PCG only) or heart view (PCG + ECG) as needed.
Step 4: You may instruct the patient to create a recording which will save and present the algorithm analyses in the patient profile.
Step 5: When auscultation is complete, select “Pause Live Stream” to continue the video conference. The stethoscope must remain turned on, when the device is turned off, the session will end.
Note: If the patient accidentally turns off the device and disconnects from the session, they may select “Start Session” to enter the video conference again.
Step 6: To end the session, the patient or provider may select the red telephone icon.
Accessing AI Recordings
Step 1: To access an AI recording from the patient profile, select the recording you wish to examine. The Afib and murmur analysis summary will appear in the “analysis” column on the right hand side of the screen.
Note: If accessing a recording from a clinic site, the analysis report will not have patient information in the recording, you may add identifying patient information in the notes section for recordkeeping.
Step 2: Options on the recording page include:
- Listening to the recording by selecting the “play” icon.
- Annotating the recording in the notes section.
- Downloading a PDF report by selecting the PDF icon.
- Downloading an audio file of the auscultation sounds by selecting the data icon.
