Manage settings on the Eko Dashboard You can update your Eko account settings, copy your live stream link, and change the Dashboard view between light and dark mode. Update Eko account On the top right corner, click the icon with your initials. A drop-down panel appears. Click Settings. The Settings panel opens on the right. Update your information as needed. Click Save Changes. Copy live stream link On the top right corner, click the icon with your initials. A drop-down panel appears. Click Live Stream Link. The link is copied to your clipboard so you can share it with others. Select light or dark mode On the top right corner, click the icon with your initials. A drop-down panel appears. Click the toggle with the moon icon. The Dashboard updates to dark mode. To change back to light mode, turn the toggle off. Manage settings on the Eko App You can update your Eko account settings, the Eko App settings, and the connected device’s settings. Update Eko account On the bottom toolbar, tap Menu. Tap the area with your name. The Account Profile screen opens. To update your name and email, tap Name and Email. The Name and Email screen opens. Enter your updated information and tap Save. To update your password, tap Password. The Password screen opens. Enter your current password and new password and tap Save. To turn on enhanced security that requires an Eko password or PIN to access patient data, tap the Enhanced Security toggle. The Create Log In PIN section appears. Tap Create Log In PIN. Enter your credentials and tap Log In to confirm the setting. Update Eko App settings On the bottom toolbar, tap Menu. Tap App Settings. The App Settings screen opens. Update the following settings as needed: Setting Description Play from Headphones Select to listen to sounds on your headphones or earbuds that are connected to your mobile device. Adjust your mobile device’s volume if needed. If there are no headphones connected to the mobile device, then the audio will play through the phone’s speakers. High quality headphones Use high quality headphones for optimal heart sounds as audio may play back poorly on your system speakers. Volume Boost Activated when Play from Headphones is turned on. Further amplifies the sounds through your headphones. Tap the scale to adjust the level. CORE Audio Filter Setting only shows when a CORE device is connected. Select an audio filter of Cardiac, Pulmonary, or Wide (for all use cases). DUO Audio Filter Setting only shows when a DUO device is connected. Select an audio filter of Diaphragm (Cardiac), Bellmode, Midrange (Pulmonary), or Extended. Background Connection Time Set the number of minutes the Eko App remains connected to your Eko device while the app runs in the background. Omit Patient Information Select whether or not you want to include sensitive patient information, such as their name, MRN, and DOB, when sharing a report. Assign Patient at Start Only applies when selecting a full cardiac exam from the Exam screen. Turn on to select a patient profile before beginning an exam. Turn off if you don’t want to select a patient profile before beginning an exam (you can assign a patient to a recording later). Recording Length Set the maximum amount of time for quick recordings. You can manually stop the recording at any time. Update the connected device’s settings This option only appears when an Eko device is connected to the app. These settings only apply to the specific device. On the bottom toolbar, tap Menu. Tap either CORE settings or DUO settings, depending on the device that is connected. Update the following settings as needed: CORE Setting Description Record from Device Turn on to allow recordings to be initiated from your CORE by pressing the O button that’s between the volume buttons on the CORE. Active Noise Cancellation Turn on to filter out background noise while listening or recording. DUO Setting Description Record from Device Turn on to allow recordings to be initiated from your DUO by double tapping the central control button. The Eko App must be on the Record screen to be able to start a recording from the DUO. Flip ECG Turn on to invert the ECG tracing on your screen. Waveform Display Select whether you’d like PCG and ECG to be displayed individually or together during recording. ECG Mains Filter Switch between 50Hz and 60Hz, so that noise coming from the AC powerline is minimized. The setting will differ depending on which country you are in.
