Use this guide if your Littmann CORE or CORE Attachment won't pair with the Eko App, keeps disconnecting, or shows a weak-connection warning. Work through the steps in order and stop when the device connects.
My device won't pair or connect
- The light should be blinking white. A solid white light means the device is already connected to another phone or to a second Eko app.
-
Pair from inside the Eko App: Click on your profile from the top left of the encounter screen, and tap on Connect your device under My Device. Don't pair from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Disconnect other Bluetooth devices from your phone, especially headphones and earbuds.
- iPhone: turn the CORE off. Go to Settings → Bluetooth, tap the (i) next to your CORE, and tap Forget This Device. Open the Eko App, tap Connect Device, then turn the CORE on and select it.
- Android: go to Settings → Apps → See all apps → ⋮ → Show system → Bluetooth → Storage. Tap Clear cache, then Clear storage. Restart your phone and pair again.
- Close the app completely, turn Bluetooth off and on, and restart your phone.
- Delete the Eko App, forget the device in Bluetooth settings, reinstall, and pair again.
- Turn the CORE off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on.
Keeping a strong connection
- Keep your phone within about 5 feet of the device with a clear line of sight.
- If you see a weak-Bluetooth warning, disconnect other Bluetooth devices and move closer.
- Force-closing the Eko App or turning off the device ends the connection. Turn the device on, open the app, and it will reconnect.
