You can take multiple recordings at a time with the CORE 500™ and keep your phone in your pocket. Here's how.
Note
The CORE 500™ must be actively connected to the Eko App via Bluetooth in order to take recordings from the device or the Eko App.
With these recording settings on the Eko App Menu screen, you can customize how your recordings are taken.

The Recording Analysis setting screens for abnormalities for every recording when turned on (default).

The Record Automatically setting shows only if you have Recording Analysis turned on. Turn on if you want the recording to begin automatically when a good signal is detected. Turn off if you want to start the recording yourself.

In the App Settings section, the Recording Length setting controls the recording length of time. Select from the various options.

Open the Eko App and make sure the CORE 500™ is connected.

Navigate away from the app or put your phone to sleep.
Tip
Make sure the app is still active in the background.

Put your phone in your pocket or set it aside.

Place the device on the patient.

Press the top button for 2 seconds to start the recording, or, if you have the Record Automatically setting turned on, the recording starts when a good signal is detected.

The bars encircling the device interface light up green to indicate recording is in process.
Tip
When you see these green bars, you can have confidence that the recording is working.

When the recording stops, remove the device from the patient’s skin.

Press the top button to clear the screen.

Place the device on the patient’s skin again.

Repeat this process for more than one recording or for a different anatomical location.

Review and/or assign the recording later to a patient in the Eko App. Here's how.
Note
If the app is actively open on your mobile device instead of in the background, you'll need to clear each recording by tapping Done on the summary screen when a recording is complete. When the Listen screen opens, you can then start a new recording from the CORE 500™.
