Eko periodically releases new features to improve your stethoscope. You'll be notified of any device updates when you connect your Eko device to the Eko App. Updates can be either:

Required: You must update the firmware before continuing with the app or device.

Optional: You can update the firmware when you choose.
The updates are done through the app. Here's how.
Note: Your Eko App screens may differ from what's shown here.

When a firmware update is available for your Eko device, once your device is connected to the Eko App, a screen shows with the information about the update.

Click Install Update. The screen shows the progress of the update.

When a firmware update is available for your Eko device, once your device is connected to the Eko App, a screen shows with the information about the update.

Click Install Update to install the update now.

Click Install Later to install the update at a later time.

If you choose to install later, the Menu screen shows that a device update is available and an orange dot shows on the Menu button until the update is installed. Tap Get Started when you're ready to install the update.
