Encounter sharing and printing is only available with an Eko+ membership and some enterprise health system enablements.
Sharing encounters with you colleagues or patients helps keep them in the loop with patient care, and doing so is easy from an Encounter in the Eko App. From the main screen of the Eko App, you can find assigned or unassigned encounters from the Encounters tab, or, if assigned to a patient, from Patients tab.
After opening an Encounter, simply scroll down to the bottom of the summary screen and tap Share.
Sharing an Encounter
Create PDF
Create a customized PDF that can include:
- Include PHI - This includes the patient name and any findings associated with the encounter
- Include notes - Includes the notes captured on the encounter. Please make sure this does not contain anything you would not want printed.
- Include tracings - Includes all position and waveform data on pages past the cover sheet.
After creating the PDF, you can share via email, text, or other options depending on your device's operating system.
We strongly recommend using extreme caution when sharing personally identifiable patient information or protected health information (PHI). You are responsible for maintaining HIPPA compliance when you share patient recordings.
Generate link
Sharing a link allows anyone to see the encounter in a web browser. They are PHI-free and include all associated recordings, as well as associated findings. Audio can be downloaded as well as a PHI-free PDF report.
After tapping Share link to recording, you can share via email, text, or other options depending on your device's operating system.
