Note: Certain sharing, reporting, and patient profile features require an Eko+ membership.
You use the Eko App to generate a PDF report of a recording that allows you to:
-
Share it with others.
-
Print it.
-
Play back or download the audio file.
-
View the visualization of the waveform.
-
View any notes about the recording.
You can choose to share the report with several common options available on your mobile device, such as by text message, email, or any other apps. The report is sent from the app as a PDF that includes a secure link to listen to the audio file for each position. The recipient can access the audio clip directly from the report without having to sign in.
You can share a recording from the patient profile screen or from the results screen after a recording has been taken. You can select whether or not to include or remove patient information.
Caution
We strongly recommend omitting any personally identifiable patient information or protected health information (PHI). Any notes will be included when sharing a recording with others.
This may violate HIPAA provisions. You are responsible for maintaining HIPPA compliance when you share patient recordings.
Use this method if you’re sharing an unassigned recording or a recording that’s already been taken and assigned to a patient profile.
